Hospice of the Western Reserve
Vista Walk annex – “A Place of Healing”
In 2009 Hospice of the Western Reserve purchased property adjacent to David Simpson Hospice House at E. 185th and Lake Shore in Cleveland. The property most recently was known as the Christian Life Center, owned and operated by the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. To document its rich history dating back to 1920, this film was produced as a tribute to this distinctive historical landmark, with a promise of preserving its legacy in the future.
Peaceful & Proud Personalized Care for Veterans – “Welcome Home”
This initiative is a comprehensive program that addresses the unique end-of-life needs of veterans.
Palliative Care
Palliative care extends the principles of hospice care to a broader population of patients who are not ready for hospice or do not choose it but could benefit from disease management earlier in their illness. Considering the physical and emotional toll symptoms can take, palliative care aims to ease pain, insomnia, and shortness of breath, as well as anxiety, depression, and other intense emotions.
